Masquerade by Melissa De La Cruz
This book was a great page turner. Loved the twists and turns in the plot, especially toward the end of the book. I have been falling in love with the characters ever since I read the first book to this series. Love them even more after reading this one.

Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard
Loved this book! I was a little skeptical about it and I wasn't sure if this would be the type of book that I would be interested in but Sara Shepard did an excellent job. The characters are surprisingly easy to follow. This is a very fun read. Incredible!

Pretties (Uglies Trilogy, Book 2) by Scott Westerfeld
Loved this book almost as much as the first book in the Uglies Trilogy. Westerfeld has again blown me away. The adventure in this story is amazing. It is definitely a page-turner. Very enjoyable.

Real Murders by Charlaine Harris
This is the first book that I have read by Charlaine Harris that wasn't part of her Sookie series. I really liked it. I usually don't read murder mysteries but thought I would give this one a shot since it's written by one of my favorite authors. I was certainly not disappointed. I love the characters and their quirky names. It's make the story fun and actually more believable. Charlaine Harris has once again proved that she is in fact an amazing writer.

Harry Potter and The Dark Divine
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling
I am very mad at myself for going this long without reading ANY of the Harry Potter books. I am really looking forward to the final movie being released on Friday. I wish I had read the books prior to watching the movies. I really, really liked this book. I read it in a matter of about two days. It is almost identical to the movie which impressed me very much. It is very rare that a movie incoporates everything from a novel. There were only a few parts of the written story that I was not familiar with, but this only made it more interesting. I can't wait to get started on the second book.

The Dark Divine by Bree Despain
I think that I would have enjoyed this book more if I had read it instead of listening to the audio version. It took me about two weeks to get through it because of the inconvencience of listening to it on cd. I get distracted easily so it was hard to listen to it while attempting to do other things. Even though that audio was not as good as I would have liked, the story itself was incredible. I loved the characters and was able to really understand each of their personalities. I really hope that Bree is writing a sequel to this book. I would surely read it!

Blue Bloods by Melissa De la Cruz
I love De la Cruz's take on vampires in this book. It is much different from the traditional vampire in horror fiction. Very enthralling. I enjoyed the fact that this was placed in an environment that was rich and classy. By far, the best perspective of vampires that I have read thus far. Thankfully, I have the second book ready to go. Retrieved it from the library after work this evening. Can't wait to dive into it.

Uglies by Scott Westerfeld
Scott Westerfeld is amazing. He is one of my new favorite authors, that's for sure. This book is unbelievable and a very quick read because I had a very hard time putting it down. The story itself is very unique and reminds me of the stereotypes that we deal with today. I was very surprised that I enjoyed this book as much as I did. Westerfeld's writing is phenomenal.
