I am really wanting to win the Early Reviewer's copy of Linwood Barclay's new book, The Accident. Crossing my fingers that I win!
I have slowly been working my way through A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness but sometimes it becomes a very slow read. Not only is the book very long, but some of the chapters I find to be rather pointless. I am about halfway through the book and wasted some of my time reading an entire chapter about the appearance of Matthew's mothers house. After I while, I get the idea and I don't see the point of wasting an entire chapter trying to explain in perfect detail what everything looks like. Oh, and why do they drink so much wine? Seriously, it's about to drive me mad reading, "He brought in another bottle of wine."
